IRA Charitable Donations
If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax‑free Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your traditional IRA to Solace Sexual Assault Services. This donation reduces your taxable income, counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution once you turn 73, and provides vital support to survivors. Please consult your IRA custodian or financial advisor to initiate your gift and connect with Solace.
Stocks & Securities
Donating appreciated stocks or securities is a tax‑smart way to make a lasting impact. By transferring securities directly to Solace Sexual Assault Services, you can avoid capital gains taxes and may receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full market value of your gift. Donor Advised Funds
Donor‑advised funds (DAFs) are a simple, flexible, and tax‑efficient way to support Solace Sexual Assault Services. By contributing cash, stocks, or other assets to your DAF, you can receive an immediate tax deduction. Over time, you can recommend grants from your fund to Solace—helping provide survivors of sexual violence with the counseling, advocacy, and hope they deserve, while simplifying your giving and maximizing your tax benefits.
