Feel Empowered With Us

Solace Advocates address clients’ critical non-therapeutic needs, connecting survivors with emergency financial assistance, housing, and essential social services. They help survivors create a safety plan and provide emotional support for the survivor and their family. Our services are bilingual at no cost to the client.

Advocates guide survivors and explain the roles of SANE nurses (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner), law enforcement, prosecutors and the criminal justice system. They stand beside survivors during forensic interviews, and if needed, legal proceedings, and grand jury testimony, offering consistent emotional support every step of the way.

They also help survivors identify the financial toll of sexual violence and assist with completing and submitting applications to the New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission (CVRC) for reimbursement of eligible expenses.
