Why is this Summit So Important?
Voces para el cambio: Frente a la Violencia Sexual

En 2025, los casos denunciados de agresión sexual en el norte de Nuevo México aumentaron casi un 18% con respecto al año anteriorLa violencia sexual y el maltrato infantil dejan a los sobrevivientes y a sus familias que sufren traumas a largo plazo, desestabilizando el bienestar de toda nuestra comunidad. La necesidad de una respuesta unida nunca ha sido más urgente.
Este noviembre, los Servicios de Asalto Sexual de Solace se asociarán con la Ciudad de Santa Fe; Primera Fiscalía del Distrito Judicial; Departamento de Policía de Santa Fe; Programa de Exámenes de Enfermera de Asalto Sexual; Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Santa Fe; y Nuevo México Programas de Asalto Sexual para acoger Voces para el cambio: Permanente contra la violencia sexual.
Este simposio vital se celebrará 19 de noviembre, de 8:00am-5:00pm, en el Centro de Convenciones de Santa FeHaremos que los conocimientos compartidos se conviertan en acciones coordinadas, potenciando la respuesta de nuestra comunidad, apoyando a los sobrevivientes y promoviendo la justicia al exigir responsabilidades a los autores. Juntos, podemos asegurar que la seguridad, la curación y la justicia son más que ideales, pueden convertirse en realidades para cada sobreviviente de agresión sexual y abuso infantil en nuestra comunidad.
Esperamos que se una a nosotros para esta conversación crítica mientras levantamos nuestras voces, profundizamos la comprensión e inspiramos un cambio significativo en nuestra comunidad. Entradas a la venta 21 de septiembre.

Continuing Education Hours Approved!
We are excited to announce that 7.25 Social Work/Cultural Continuing Education Hours have been officially approved by the National Association of Social Workers – New Mexico (NASW-NM) for the 2026 Voices for Change: Standing Against Sexual Violence Summit on November 19, 2026!
Attendees will have the opportunity to earn Social Work/Cultural Continuing Education Hours through engaging presentations and panel discussions focused on sexual violence prevention, survivor support, cultural considerations, and collaborative approaches to advancing justice.

Reimbursement Scholarships Available
The New Mexico Children's Alliance is offering a limited number of
scholarships to attend the VFC: Summit!
If you are CAC staff, and would like to attend but cannot afford the costs (Registration fee, *hotel costs, and mileage), you may be eligible for reimbursement. Please contact events@constellationnm.com at your earliest convenience to inquire about available scholarships.
The deadline to apply will be announced on Oct. 10.
