To create a more compassionate environment for survivors, Solace works in-house with the Santa Fe Police Department’s Special Victims Unit and sexual assault nurse examiners from Christus St. Vincent to provide a coordinated, survivor-centered response. This partnership ensures that survivors have access to counseling, forensic medical care, and law enforcement support in one place, reducing the burden of navigating multiple systems on their own. By offering these critical services in a shared space, we help minimize retraumatization and create a setting that feels less institutionalized than a traditional hospital or police station. This collaborative approach prioritizes safety, dignity, and compassionate care at every step of the healing process.
