Our evidence-based team approach provides free, short-term therapies to anyone suffering trauma symptoms such as feeling anxious and unable to cope with everyday life. An individual can get a same day or next day appointment. A clinician will assess for symptoms of traumatic stress, regardless of when and where the traumatic event(s) occurred, and will work with the individual to get the services they need, including resources external to our Center. Our Family Advocacy Center is an accredited member of the National Childrens Alliance and a member of the NM Safe House Network. The FAC provides support and guidance to individuals, children and families who have experienced or witnessed violent crimes, including sexual assault.
Our specially trained advocates work with law enforcement, the judicial system, social service agencies, and other community service providers to help access resources and track individual cases as needed.
